My rusty skills from my abandoned TL kicked in when I needed them

I got to speak Italian at work today. An actual conversation! I made it til the end when the word vorebbe tripped me up but not bad for someone who hasn’t practiced in eons. For my language that had some cobwebs on it. 🙃 It’s given me motivation to get back on my shit.
