hi! i saw a post on reddit that stated that learning the most common 100 indonesian words gave him 50% vocabulary understanding in the context of indonesian movies.
i've then begun to google most common words from the different languages i'm learning and haven't found any single website where you can easily list a selected number of most common words from a specified language.
something like that would help me learn core vocab from different languages (especially if the website could generate anki decks).
also, it'd help me in a website i'm currently building where writers are forced to write using only the 1000 most common english words (possibly more languages added in the future), but that's a very specific use case.
so my question is: is there already a website like this and i just haven't found it? wikipedia has the most common 100 english words, but that's the only language i've seen there. there's a lot of blogs in a similar spirit but i want to easily copy the words to my anki and to my website.
