I have a friend who speaks only my TL. She's willing to chat with me but how can I make better use of this time? We try to talk about various topics but it's pretty stilted and akward. Sometimes I feel like I'm just faking understanding to keep the conversation going. I suspect she's doing the same. Any tips?
