38 year old have studied Spanish through elementary and high school, have occasionally tried online learning. Would I be able to become at least proficient enough to hold conversations with daily practice? I honestly did not retain much from school and probably can understand every 10th word someone is speaking. I interact with people at work who often don't speak English very well and feel bad having to always rely on pointing and hand gestures.
