Hi! I have decided to take up the Rusyn language! (Not Russian, Rusyn,) as it is what my grandparents spoke and I feel a connection to it. I took Spanish in school, and built up a 750 day streak on Duolingo. I have no interest in further Spanish learning (have graduated) and was wondering if it were to be problematic if I take the Ukrainian course on Duolingo to keep the streak, and then mix in Rusyn vocab as O go along? Will this be problematic, or do the languages align enough that it works. Btw, I know some Rusyn already, spoken in my home, but by no means am I close to fluent. Thanks!
