I've been given advice by a lot of people to watch TV in my target language (which luckily i have a lot of access to) in order to supplement my learning of the language. What's the best strategy for this? should i just watch and see which words I can pick up? or should I be actively looking up words? i'd say when I try this i'm usually able to understand maybe one out of every ten words said at any time. Any other tips?
