I have been facing this issue sometimes, whenever I go back to my hometown after a few months, and I use my own native language there, in the first few days, I am faced with a slight lag when choosing some words, and then at times, I am using a closely related word instead of the exact word even though I correct myself in a second or so.
I'd like to know if someone else faced and got a solution for such an issue, or feel free to enlist me some more issues like that which you face while switching to a language after a long time.
PS: I am fluent in those both languages.
