Any suggestions on good books/ workbooks that combine languages with their history and geography??

My partner is obsessed with languages, geography, and history (speaks Portuguese, Spanish, French, and English). He's about to finally get his teaching license and I'm wanting to get him a good book for a congratulations. Any suggestions on a good book/ workbook that combines learning global languages with Geography and history??
