Learning 4th language

Just a story I wanted to share. My second language is English, third one is Russian. I'm currently learning Danish. Recently I started noticing this weird phenomenon: I tend to start speaking/writing in Russian (in Cyrillic, too) spontaneously when I have to speak/write in Danish. These languages have nothing in common! The thing is that I'm not even that good in Russian (B1-ish) and I've never felt the need to include English words when learning Russian. In addition, the language course is in English, not in Russian. I just find it funny how my brain works sometimes. Anyone has/had a similar experience while learning? Haha
