Looking to learn usable, conversational French

Hello,

As the title says, I'm looking to learn French. (I was born in the Uk)

I'm going to Paris on holiday at the start of May. I know very small amounts of basic French, but just odd words and phrases (and what I learnt in High school, which was not a lot)

I do not expect to be fluent in this time, I understand learning a language is very hard.

I say 'usable French' because I've tried Dualingo but gave up because it wasn't usable in conversation, instead it was things like "the child ate the apple" which I would never say.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
