If you could only learn 5 languages, what would be the most useful?

I'm interested in languages that have similar roots to many others. For example, fluent English and learning French. I have an easier time learning this language as has similarities.

My guess for now is: Chinese, Germán, French, Spanish & English.

To my limited knowledge I think there are areas in for example Africa that have similarities to French (or maybe I'm confusing the country 🤔).
