After you master the grammar of your target language, how do you increase your vocabulary and reduce the chance of forgetting words?
I'm around C1 in German and I never have a problem with the grammar; I build complex sentences with ease, I use the right cases, the word order is correct etc. My problem now is that I just need more vocabulary, and I need to stop forgetting newly learned words. I'm using Anki about 20 minutes a day, using course books, sentence/word mining with news articles and conversations with natives, but I'm still wondering if there's something I could be doing.
