How to approach the Listening-Reading (L-R) method?

Can anyone advise me on the best way to approach/adapt the L-R (listening-reading) method with the following resources:

  1. A novel on an e-reader in NL (Eng.)
  2. The same novel in hardcopy in TL (French)
  3. Audiobooks of the same novel in both NL and TL

How would you make use of these resources? I'm looking to improve my listening/reading comprehension and vocab generally (I'm ~B2 French) and hoping for a clear method/system/plan!

I've chosen a novel that I love and am familiar with in English (Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell for anyone interested).
