I’d like to know. How many people have such an easy time hearing certain French speakers and then some have no idea what they’re saying?

I listen to French literally ALL THE TIME and sometimes I listen and understand perfectly and then sometimes I listen to French and literally cannot make sense of what they’re saying. Anyone feel this way too and if so what are your recommendations?
