I` am currently learning Japanese and I` am using Pimsleur and Japanese from zero, and I noticed that when I use Pimsleur I remember the words only after a couple or few listens, but I `am learning Japanese greetings from the book using flashcards in Anki and for some reason I have a hard time remembering them. I don`t know if it`s because Pimsleur uses conversation to help you learn and they constantly ask you how to say certain things. Or do I just need to keep studying the flashcards because I feel like there is a more effective way to remember new words I learn.
