Hello peeps; I hope all is well!
So while improving my French from high beginner to low intermediate, what I’ve came across with reading (I use LingQ in particular to learn) is that some words change their meanings in sentences versus if they were by themselves. Is there a way to understand how this works?
Hopefully the question make sense; as a native English speaker, it’s quite challenging to verbalize it, since the only examples I could give would be “where, we’re”, etc.
