What made you pick the language you're studying?

  • English: Because you just have to.
  • Finnish: Pathological obsession and plenty of resources.
  • Chinese: Plenty of Chinese people in Brazil and it could be useful in the future.
  • Arabic: Many Arabs over here and it's a relevant language. Too bad reading it such a struggle.
  • Viet: It's basically a simpler version of Chinese and much of the vocabulary comes from Chinese anyway. It's an extra language with 70 million speakers you can get to learn to read for free if you put 1/10 of the effort you put in Chinese.
