Where I live is like 90% English speaking and the small amount of people who speak Spanish among themselves tend to prefer English in public and it seems like it would be rude to randomly speak Spanish to them. And as for any of my other target languages almost nobody speaks them here.
So how can I practice genuine conversation outside of school?
