Why do danes invert words in the sentences sometimes?

I often see danish texts or phrases written like "ofte er han til stede" (he's often present) with the invertion of the verb and the subject (technically it should be, without this rule "ofte han er til stede"). Is there a grammar rule that can explain why this invertion happens?
