i am learning arabic with a tutor. when we work together i quickly scribble notes down so we can use new words together. after class i rewatch the lecture and rewrite my notes in my journal. next, i type up my notes so i can easily find words im forgetting and also be able to make online flashcards (i make regular paper flashcards as well sometimes) with them. i feel like i am wasting a lot of time with this? how do you make notes/ study when working with a tutor?
some ideas ive come accross is just making a journal of new words and new grammar rules. this is doable but i am having a hard time with when i should practice sentences ive learned during a lesson.
i have been in my language course 2-3 days a week for 6 weeks and i struggle to speak out loud basic sentences. i feel like this is because ive wasted so much time rewriting my notes.
i feel a bit overwhelmed right now. i would really appreciate any help.
