fellow language nerds: how do you deal with language curiosity when your trying to focus on one language?

recently i started learning Japanese, but after a deep dive about Greek history now I'm carious about the Greek language but because learning 2 writing systems can be very confusing. but this got me carious have you ever experienced this and if so what did you do, without getting into the debate of learning 2 or more languages or not.
