I am not really familiar with the functionalities that correspond to each level in the CEFR. But I have noticed some English learners who have gotten certified as C1 still making basic mistakes or their speaking ability is even less than intermediate.
I have met these people in university where there is a minimum level required to enter.
Now obviously i don't care what someone else believes themselves to be. I just wanted to know how this affects us as learners.
What does advanced mean to you and does it correspond to the CEFR levels?
