Russian wording can be so confusing

There's a lyric in a song that says "Я тебя слышишь прошу", and originally I thought it meant "I hear you beg", but the declension would be all wrong in that case. It directly translates to "I you hear beg". It took me MINUTES to realize it says "I beg you to hear" lol.

There's another lyric from the same song that says "Утопи мою ты боль" and I haven't even figured it out yet, what the hell is he trying to say?? "Drown my you pain" lol
