So this might not be the right place for this but I would appreciate the help. I'm a white boy that grew up in a white neighborhood and I still live in a white neighborhood. I live closer to a city now so I see and talk to more black people. I definitely don't want to try to speak AAVE cuz that's not me and I feel like thats disrespectful. I just want to be able to understand my conversations with people from different races.
I think a resource for vocab would probably be best if anyone knows of something. Thanks!
