What is a fun way to learn languages? Is there a way to learn languages as if you'd be playing a game?

I want to learn French, currently A1 as I only remember the basics from school. But I don't really want to "sit down and study hard", but to learn it in a fun and playing way.

Of course I'm aware that you most probably can't get a C1 (even not a B2) level if you learn a language in such a way (as a "game"), but I really just want to improve to some sort of B1 level as for now

So, what would be your suggestions here? Do any online learning platforms offer something like that?
