what i mean by the title is that when you are old enough to realize, you’re fluent in a language you didn’t even try to learn. could this be possible with another language but when you are way older? could you magically learn for example russian just by hearing it 24/7 for a year or two just like a baby? no effort for writing down stuff and learning them, no nothing. sure, there are certain differences because you would probably write apple and rainbow and all sorts of words in kindergarten so that’s a little bit of effort but the verbs and all that stuff just comes to you
