I know a few people who claim to have passed HSK6 in Chinese, JLPT N1 in Japanese and TOPIK 6 in Korean, which makes them C1/C2 in Chinese, Japanese and Korean and they also are studying other languages. It feels so intimidating when I'm struggling with an easy language and they're already fluent in 3 Asian languages and still studying more languages.
It was worse when someone claimed you could learn Japanese in 2 months to N1 by memorizing 150 words a day. I don't know how they can memorize words so fast but it makes me wonder why I'm even trying.
