What’s your favorite word in your native tongue? And, if I may, why?

Mine is “xiuxiuejar” in Catalan, which means “to whisper”. I just love the way it’s pronounced. My favorite Spanish word is “recordar”, because its etymology is a delight: it literally means “to go through your heart again”. Isn’t that just the most beautiful etymology you’ve ever heard?
