I have lost my rag with technology as it is addictive and I find its influence intrusive and unwholesome. This means I will have to go back to paper dictionaries. Does anyone on here solely, or in conjunction with computerised dictionaries, use paper dictionaries? If so, how quickly can you look up a word? How much does one improve with practice? Does adding a lot of alphabetic tabs increase the speed substantially or not have much of an effect?
