Hello. I have three children ages 10, 8, 5. We only speak English. I was looking into signing my kids up for a language summer camp which would immerse them in Spanish or French taught by native speakers. It’s not cheap so it’s something I have to give thought to. My question is…since I don’t speak a second language, would it be a waste for me to sign my kids up to learn how to speak something other than English? I was in advanced Spanish in high school (many years ago) so I can speak some basic sentences but nothing fluently.
