I'm aware that official proficiency tests exist and that you can have a pretty accurate result that tells you at what level you are but there isn't any other way to tell how far you've advanced with your studies without having to pay? How can I know if I'm fluent or not? What are my weakest spots toward which I need to focus my efforts the most? How do you practice your speaking skills if you live in a different country than the one that speaks the language that you're studying? Should I get into contact with a native speaker?
