So I was reading about Dungeons and Dragons and was on Giants (Volo's Guide to Monsters, Giants Section) when it said that their language, Giant, has sounds that can not be pronounced by ordinary meter-sized men because they have lungs the size of beer barrels. That got me thinking, does breath and lung strength affect any languages, such as clicking in some languages and trills in another?
And to divulge into a fictional perspective, what sort of possibilities arise in different kinds of languages if an alien sapient species have alternate lungs, throats, tongues, and so on? Examples from Star Wars would be Wookies and Ithorians, maybe even Hutts considering their large throats.
