do you think it's worth it to pay for language classes?

I'm an online teacher who have more than 5 years experience working with non-native speakers and i always found and felt the struggle among many students who felt like they were hesitant/very careful when it came to paying someone professional to teach them a language, or help them improve a language that they know already.

So as simple as that, do you think it's worth it to pay for a teacher to learn a language?

If "YES" then why and if "NO" then why not?

and did you have any experience working with online tutors/teachers to learn a language? could you please talk a little bit about this experience?
