I just wanted to vent about a common occurrence. There always seems to be a moment just past the beginner stages of a new language where I understand every word in a written or spoken sentence, but I still can't understand what the meaning of the whole sentence is! I'm sure this is a common issue people have. I'll end up going back through the sentence and picking each word apart, but I will still have trouble understanding the message. I know this is an issue that will resolve itself with time and exposure, but I was wondering if there is anything specific you guys do to overcome this particular annoying occurrence?
