I'm thinking about starting a modern languages degree next year and this particular programme (Open University UK) only offers three options - French, Spanish and German - from which I'd have to select two.
Problem is my main focus thus far has been Italian (which unfortunately is not available to take as a course option), and while I think French and Spanish will be fairly straightforward for me I'm worried I'll mix them all up or my Italian will degrade because of it.
So I'm leaning towards French and German but wondered if anyone else has tried learning multiple romance languages at once?
