I am trying to learn German and am in a awprkplace where I meet Germans on a daily basis however I am not proficient enough to hold a long ocnversation, I tried using Google Translate (writing down zhe sentence in English then saying the translation to the customer) will this help get better or will it hinder tje process of learning.
What do you think and why?
