How do YOU use Language Reactor/LLN?

Language Reactor (formerly Language Learning with Netflix) is free chrome extension that allows for subtitles in 2 languages simultaneously, dictionary lookups of unknown words, and lots of other features to facilitate using streaming services to learn languages.

I'm about to make the jump from learner specific resources, into trying to use native content. I know there are a lot of possible ways to use the features on this extension, but how do you use it? How does it work for you?

Do you rewatch episodes? First time through with NL subs to understand the story, then again with TL, then with none? Or the reverse, start with no helps and gradually add them in for the parts you're struggling to comprehend?

Or do you just go for extensive viewing, watch everything once and trust that eventually it will fall into place?

Do you look up all the words you don't know, or only the ones that are key to understanding? Then do you add them to Anki or just trust that you now understand it in this context?

I'd love to hear how different people use this resource for their language learning journey. I'm almost finished Extr@, currently reading an A2-B1 graded reader, and this seems like the next step...
