I'm hoping to improve my French language skills and have been researching the best way to go about it (immersion is not an option). I'm thinking it might be best to use a textbook for the more standard grammatical concepts and a tutor for the more conversational/spontaneous component may be a good option. Based on personal experience or advice, what would you recommend?
For context: Currently, I am at a low B1 level
Note: I did look at professional teachers which would provide both aspects, but it was a bit too expensive for me right now.
