Does anyone have experience learning more than one Romance language? I was learning Italian for the longest time and ended up around B2, but since May I have switched to Portuguese. I find that now I can understand italian just as well as I could before, but if I try to speak, only Portuguese words come out. Or If i try to think about how I would say something in italian, the Portuguese words come in my head. its almost as if the italian has been blocked. Does anybody have experience dealing with this? How can I overcome it?
