Anyone lives overseas and tried to master the spoken language will know that most people hit that intermediate plateau although they live in the country where the language is spoken and they hear it every day. On the other hand, some people don’t move to another country and just immerse in their target language and many of them master it from home and English is the best example for that. I was in a debate with my friends about this topic. So what do you think ? Why most people still don’t sound native in their target language although they live there ?
