How do I decide what language to learn?Is it possible to learn a certain amount of languages at the same time?

So I as American have learned Spanish through school for 3 years.But got so busy with life getting a job,responsibilities etc.So end up losing what I had learnt and eventually lost motivation to learn languages.The problem now is I have bad memory and don’t really talk which I don’t know if that’ll affect me.Anyways I wanted to know how many languages is it possible to learn.How many I can study a day and retain.

Is it possible to learn a certain amount of languages at the same time?
