I obviously know they are not related. Finnish is Uralic and Russian is Slavic, but I was thinking Russian might have still had some influence on Finnish vocabulary.
Edit: I know spelling errors doesn't look good on a language learning subreddit, so the title is supposed to be "Does Russian and Finnish share some of the same vocabulary?" :)
