Bio

Dean R. Rogers is CEO of Dean Morgan K.K. which owns the Rosetta Stone Learning Center and Hummingbird pronunciation school brands.  He is a Japan based entrepreneur.  He did his undergraduate studies at UCLA and over 2 years (from 2013-2015) completed Harvard Business School’s Owner President Management program (OPM 47).   He started his career in private money management and later moved to a global ERP Software company which took him to Japan in 2001.  3 years after moving to Japan he left the expat world to start his own language school chain.  The company has developed industry leading software and customized curriculum and experienced significant growth since its establishment in 2004.  In 2015 a business alliance with Rosetta Stone Inc was established and the school chain was rebranded as Rosetta Stone Learning Centers.   In 2017 the company was successfully sold to Link and Motivation Group (TSE: 2170) a Tier 1 publicly traded company and is now a fully owned subsidiary of LMG.   The company has expanded from it’s one original school to now cover 90 direct and partner locations across Japan serving 2500 students.  Dean has also published 4 books in Japanese selling over 100,000 copies mostly focused on language learning.
