What lexical gaps are there in English or any other language?

Lexical gaps are what is called fully developed words present in one language that are missing in another, e.g. in Russian, we do not have a single word for a sibling (we have брат - brother, сестра - sister); in English, there is no single word for "сутки" (24 hours; day and night)).
