Is it possible to learn a language with only material written in that language?

like, if humans, in a last ditch effort to leave a sign that they existed, buried a giant vault underground that contained the sum of all human knowledge up until the point they were wiped out by whatever mass extinction event. and then a couple centuries go by and for the sake of the discussion another human like species evolves and finds this vault, would they be able to understand anything? would they need something similar to the rosetta stone like 🍎= apple etc etc? in this case everything would be in english but i guess it would also be in other languages if it contained all human knowledge. sorry if this is confusing
