Any recommendations for good books for learning a language? Specifically I've been trying to improve my French. I maxed out on the lessons on Duolingo. In my opinion, the learning from Duolingo starts to plateau, and the little sentences or phrases one after another doesn't resonate with my learning style. In school, I have always learned best by reading physical paper books (I learned my most Spanish vocabulary from books). Any French books (even novels) that are written simply enough for someone who maxed out on the French Duolingo?
