“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart.”
Okay I might just be stupid and I obviously understand the general idea of this quote, but am I the only one that thinks this quote low key doesn’t make sense?
If I go to Spain and talk to a person in Spanish, that’s speaking to THEIR heart, but my head. If they talked to me in English, they’d be speaking to MY heart, but their head.
Is my logic incorrect?
I guess if you learn their language fluently it’s different but still.
