[Non Latin Cyrillic] Signature space on back of credit card vertically too short?

While signatures can be of any shape, the space is designed for Latin letters: wide enough, vertically short. It's already difficult to write, let alone to sign with stylish tails, Chinese characters or Japanese kanji in that space. On the contrary Chinese names don't need that insane width.

Heard that Thai script needs even more vertical space as it has many accents on top.

Do cards in your country have special signature space adapting to your script? Or does your signature adapt to that space?
