When Languages Collide

Anyone else suddenly remembers all the words and phrases you forgot in another second language when you start studying a new one? I learned French back in 2014 and sadly let it slip pretty badly. Now I'm learning Russian and French is just randomly popping out. I try and use Russian throughout the day - even if it's just on my dog - and yesterday it was tu es un bon chien.... tu es un bon собака ...... ты es un bon собака .... ты хорошая собака.*
