Is this a good idea, if i pay attention to both and study a reasonable time a day can i learn both languages without mixing them up and getting confused? I know a little bit of Swahili just a few words!, however i want to learn Somali because i’m in Calgary and we have a large Somali speaking population so i believe it would come in use (plus my dad is half somali, so i have some relatives who speak somali). As for Swahili it’s a language my mom speaks, even though she is pakistani she was teached swahili because she was born and raised in Kenya, so it will be useful as my mom is more comfortable using Swahili than urdu or english.
